Horizon Forbidden West es el más reciente lanzamiento de Guerrilla Games, videojuego que vuelve a tener a Aloy como protagonista en una nueva aventura. La importancia de esta saga ha hecho que PlayStation la considere como uno de los primeros juegos de realidad virtual para PlayStation VR2, pero también tendría planes de que se lance un multijugador.
La filtración viene por parte de Oops Leaks, cuyas fuentes le aseguraron que Guerrilla Games estaría trabajando en un videojuego multijugador online de Horizon por separado o, incluso, se trataría de una expansión de Forbidden West que volvería a tener a Aloy como protagonista.
Aunque no se han revelado muchos detalles sobre este importante proyecto, las fuentes del mencionado leaker aseguran que se emocionaron al enterarse que el videojuego podría ser semejante a Monster Hunter World, el popular RPG de mundo abierto de Capcom.
Si bien se trata de una filtración y es importante tomar con mucha precaución lo dicho por Oops Leaks, tampoco suena del todo descabellado este tipo de proyectos, ya que PlayStation habría adoptado la posición de expandir el universo de sus videojuegos por medio de títulos con multijugador online.
El último que recibió este tipo de entregas fue Ghost of Tsushima con el modo Legends, pero también se habla que Naughty Dogs estaría trabajando en un juego en línea para The Last of Us y ahora se uniría Guerrilla Games con otra propuesta para Horizon.
