Sí, amigos: han pasado siete años desde el lejano 10 de junio de 2018, cuando el primer tráiler conceptual del juego se mostró en la conferencia del E3.
Hemos vivido casi una década desde entonces, un periodo durante el cual el E3 ha dejado de existir y la industria se ha transformado. ¿Pero cuál es la situación actual de la sexta entrega de la saga?
También cabe reconocer que el estudio ha estado dedicado a su otro gran proyecto, Starfield, así como a las distintas expansiones que ha seguido recibiendo The Elder Scrolls Online.
En ese sentido, Todd Howard y sus chicos fueron claros: TES 6 vendría después de Starfield y será su siguiente gran proyecto, el cual entró en preproducción en el momento de su anuncio; es decir, también en 2018.
Y el hecho es que están enfrascados en su desarrollo, como desveló la iniciativa benéfica para incluir el rostro de un donante en el juego.
Para hacernos una idea de la fecha de estreno, podemos tirar de hemeroteca; aunque las pistas disponibles sugieren que nos va a tocar esperar.
Durante el juicio de la FTC por la compra de Activision, documentos internos desvelaron un estreno previsto para 2026… Como muy pronto, ojo; además de mencionar que sería exclusivo de Xbox y PC.
